The Stormpilot hardcover book standing on a Boeing cockpit panel

New expanded edition · Ships November 2026

The storms only pilots see, in a signed hardcover.

Two editions, 6,000 copies, sold out. This third and likely final edition adds a large set of new, award-winning photographs.

As an airline pilot, I’ve always kept my camera in the cockpit. This book collects about 90 of my best photographs (lightning, towering clouds, cities at night) with texts by meteorologist Michaela Koschak explaining what you’re seeing, now in English, German and Spanish.

I sign every copy by hand and dedicate it to you, or to whoever you’re giving it to.

“Santiago champions the pilot’s craft and makes it human.”

“Santiago reivindica el trabajo de piloto, lo humaniza.”
